You can choose between the island of Noirmoutier or the island of Yeu, two islands with very different characters located not far from the campsite.
Noirmoutier Island
For a complete change of scenery and to reach the island, take the famous Passage du Gois. Discover this unique road in France, accessible only at low tide and covered in water at high tide. Be sure to check the tides before crossing to avoid being trapped. When you arrive on the island, you'll discover wild, natural landscapes, and you can stroll along the island's pedestrianised streets to charming cafés and restaurants. Or take to the island's various walking and cycling trails.
Yeu Island
After crossing the ocean by boat from Fromentine or Saint Gilles Croix de Vie, you can explore the island's 23km² of coastline by bike. You'll discover wild, 100% natural landscapes. Along the way, you'll discover the island's heritage and its charming port.
